Shoes

Last week I called my parents as I do every week. 

During the conversation I told them that I had need a new pair of shoes. They answered that in England there was a good brand called Loake and that I should try to have a look.

Later, I checked on Internet and found that there was a shop in Nottingham where I could find that brand. I looked on the website the different models and I found one that was really nice. I called my parents again to thanks them and I went to buy them. It took me 5 minutes as I knew exactly which one I wanted. I literally entered inside of the shop, asked for my size, tried them, paid and left. Now I am happy with my new pair of casual shoes and I will go to that shop the next time I need that kind of shoes.

Aldi chicken

Today I went to Aldi to buy some food. 

I knew that this shop was cheaper than the average. As I use to go at Tesco, I wanted to see how cheaper it was and if the quality was the same. I was surprise that I could actually find some famous brand. However, those wasn't really cheaper. Then I started looking for meat, I was surprise to see that in the fridge it was already cheaper than the other shops I knew. But when I arrived at the frozen section, I couldn't believe it. I put back the chicken I took before and grabbed the frozen one. One kilogramme of chicken for 3.75£! I was excited to try eat in order to compare it and see if the quality was good. As a result, it was actually even better than the others. I will definitely go back to this shop at least for the cheap meat they provide. I can say that it is an impulse act as I went there just in order to compare the price. To be honest, I didn't came back in my flat with only chicken. Indeed, I realised that I bought to much and I couldn't fit everything in my fridge.

Tesco

I went to Tesco today as I do every two or three days.

I went there as I needed to buy some food to fill my fridge. I was going with some idea of the kind of food I wanted. While going across the aisles I could not have missed those huge yellow signs saying "2 for 1". When I arrived at the cash point, I realised that my basket was completely full of things I did not plan to buy. When I arrived in my flat I checked the note and I have seen that I had saved almost ten pounds. I felt really good even if deep side down I knew that I did not planned to spend that money. The fact that I bought items in discount was worth to me and I realised that I was always doing that when I was in a grocery shop.

Waitrose

I went to Waitrose the other day as my flat mate told me that it was a very nice shop.

I was surprise when I get in that it was not as bright as Tesco and it was really pleasant.

Then, I realised that there was more place between the aisles and this was also enjoyable. I felt really good in that shop. I went there to only buy some fruits as I heard it was fresher, and I realise at the end that I went in every aisle of the shop and bought much more. I spent more money than usual that day but I really enjoyed he experience of this shop. I know that I will try to not going too often as apparently I buy too much items as l enjoy spending time in the shop. Also, there are a lot of snacks at the cash point, I usually do not eat too much of that kind of food but it was really tempting to see that while waiting my turn. To be honest I bought a small pack of crisps an a cream egg. That was really good but again, I did not plan to buy that. 

New pair of jeans

Today I went to buy a new pair of jeans at Gap.

I realised on my way back to Nottingham that I was missing a pair of jeans. As I really dislike shopping, being pushed and most of all I really don't like the crowd, I decide to go directly in a shop I new. Indeed, I knew gap as this shop doesn't exist in Belgium and my parents use to bring me clothes on their way back from London or USA. I knew that it was clothes of good quality for a reasonable price. I decided to go earlier on a Wednesday morning in order to avoid the rush. 

I went into the shop and tried on a slim blue jeans. As it was my size I directly bought two of them in order to avoid having to go back soon. I have to say that I am really happy of my purchase.

This confirm my previous opinion about that brand and I will definitely go back there the next time I need something like that.
